Best time to visit Tirana

April to June and September to October are the best months to visit Tirana, with warm days and outdoor café weather. July and August get hot, often above 35 C, so plan Bunk'Art, museums, and the Dajti cable car for midday and save walking tours for morning or evening.

Book Bunk'Art and Dajti ahead

Reserve Bunk'Art 1 and the Dajti Ekspres cable car in advance in summer, when lines build by late morning. Guided walking tours of Skanderbeg Square and Blloku fill up fastest on weekends, so book those a few days out.

Tirana day trips worth taking
