0.1 Who we are

This Cookie Policy is issued by Booking-tours Inc., a Delaware corporation with registered offices at 201 N Brand Blvd, Suite 200, Glendale, CA 91203, United States. In this document, "BookingRadar", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Booking-tours Inc. We operate the website at bookingradar.com, related mobile applications, and related digital services (together, the "Platform").

For users with habitual residence in the Russian Federation, the Platform is operated by a separate Israeli-registered legal entity. A separate Cookie Policy applies and is available at bookingradar.com/ru/info/cookie-policy. This document does not apply to Russian Federation residents.

0.2 Why we wrote this

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies are, what categories of cookies we use, why we use them, and what choices you have about them. It complements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle the personal information we collect (including information collected through cookies).

0.3 Acceptance and consent

Cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the Platform are set automatically when you visit the site. For all other cookies, we ask for your consent before placing them on your device.

A cookie consent banner with category-level controls (Accept All, Reject All, Manage Preferences) will be available on the Platform. While the banner is being deployed, you can manage non-essential cookies using your browser controls as described in Section 5.

What cookies and similar technologies are

1.1 Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. Most websites use them to make the site work or work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to gather information about how the site is used.

1.2 Pixels and web beacons

Pixels (also called web beacons or clear GIFs) are tiny pieces of code that load when you view a webpage or open an email. They allow us and our partners to know when you have visited a page, opened an email, or clicked a link, and to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns.

1.3 Local storage and session storage

Local storage and session storage are browser features that allow websites to store information on your device. We use them to remember your preferences (like language and currency), to keep your session active across pages, and to improve performance.

1.4 Software development kits (SDKs) and mobile identifiers

If you use our mobile applications, we use SDKs and mobile identifiers (like advertising identifiers) that perform similar functions to cookies. References to "cookies" in this Policy include these mobile equivalents where the context allows.

1.5 First-party and third-party

Cookies set by BookingRadar directly are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another organization (for example, an analytics provider or advertising partner) are called third-party cookies. We use both, as described below.

1.6 Session and persistent

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire on a set date or you delete them manually. We use both depending on the purpose.

Categories of cookies we use

We group the cookies and similar technologies we use into four categories based on what they do:

2.1 Strictly necessary cookies

What they do: these cookies are essential for the Platform to function. They allow you to log in, navigate the site, complete bookings, keep your shopping cart in sync, switch languages, and use security features. Without them, the Platform cannot work.

Examples of uses: session management, login authentication, security tokens, fraud prevention, load balancing, language and currency preferences, content delivery network routing.

Consent: we do not ask for your consent for strictly necessary cookies because they are required for the service you have requested. They cannot be disabled through our consent banner. You can still block them in your browser, but doing so will break core Platform functionality.

Typical duration: session to 12 months.

2.2 Functional cookies

What they do: these cookies remember choices you make to give you a more personalized experience. They are not strictly necessary, but they make the Platform easier and more pleasant to use.

Examples of uses: remembering your preferred language and currency across visits, saving your recent searches, remembering items in your wishlist, retaining your communication preferences, remembering your accessibility settings.

Consent: in jurisdictions that require consent for non-essential cookies (including the EU, the UK, and certain other jurisdictions), we ask for your consent before setting functional cookies.

Typical duration: 30 days to 12 months.

2.3 Analytics and performance cookies

What they do: these cookies help us understand how visitors use the Platform so we can improve it. They tell us which pages are popular, how people move through the site, where errors occur, and how to make the site faster and easier to use.

Examples of uses: measuring page views, tracking which features are used most, identifying broken links and errors, A/B testing different layouts, measuring page load times, understanding traffic sources, generating aggregated usage reports.

Consent: in jurisdictions that require consent for non-essential cookies, we ask for your consent before setting analytics cookies. Where consent is given, the data collected by these cookies is generally pseudonymized or aggregated and not used to identify you individually.

Typical duration: 1 day to 24 months.

2.4 Marketing and advertising cookies

What they do: these cookies are used to deliver advertising that is more relevant to you and your interests, to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns, and to limit the number of times you see the same advertisement. They are typically set by advertising partners on our behalf.

Examples of uses: tracking which ads led to bookings, building audiences for retargeting campaigns, measuring ad performance across platforms, suppressing already-seen ads, building lookalike audiences for new traveler outreach, attributing bookings across devices.

Consent: in jurisdictions that require consent for non-essential cookies, we ask for your explicit consent before setting marketing cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the consent banner or your browser settings.

Typical duration: 30 days to 24 months.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies on the Platform are set by third parties whose services we use. These third parties act either as our processors (acting on our behalf and under our instructions) or as independent controllers (using the data for their own purposes, such as serving advertising). The categories of third parties whose cookies may be set on the Platform include:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that route traffic, deliver content, and protect the Platform from attacks
  • Payment processors that handle card transactions and fraud prevention
  • Analytics and product improvement providers that help us measure and improve the Platform
  • Customer support providers that operate chat, help desk, and messaging tools
  • Marketing and advertising platforms that help us reach travelers and measure campaigns
  • Social media platforms when content is embedded (for example, social sharing buttons or video players)
  • Booking management providers that connect our Platform to Operator inventory systems

Each third party has its own privacy and cookie practices, governed by its own privacy and cookie policies. When you interact with a third-party feature on the Platform, that third party may collect information about you in accordance with its own policies. We recommend that you review the policies of any third parties whose features you use.

The names of the specific third-party providers we use change from time to time as we update our infrastructure and partners. Your choices

4.1 Cookie consent banner

A cookie consent banner with category-level controls (Accept All, Reject All, and Manage Preferences) will be available on the Platform. The banner will allow you to grant or refuse consent for each non-essential cookie category, and to change your choices at any time through a "Cookie Preferences" link in the Platform footer.

While the banner is being deployed, you can manage non-essential cookies using the browser controls described in Section 5. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled because they are required for the Platform to operate.

4.2 Withdrawing consent

If you have given consent for non-essential cookies, you can withdraw that consent at any time, either through the consent banner once it is deployed, through your browser settings, or by emailing sales@bookingradar.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.

4.3 Marketing communications

Cookie consent is separate from your consent to receive marketing emails. You can manage your email preferences at any time through the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email or through your account settings.

4.4 Industry opt-out tools

You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many participating advertising networks through industry opt-out tools, including:

These tools place opt-out cookies in your browser. If you delete cookies, switch browsers, or use a different device, you will need to opt out again.

Browser controls

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically choose to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, accept only first-party cookies, or be notified each time a cookie is set. You can also delete cookies that have already been stored on your device.

Please note that blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, will affect Platform functionality. You may not be able to log in, complete bookings, or use other key features.

5.1 Mobile devices

Most mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) include settings that allow you to limit ad tracking and reset your advertising identifier. Refer to your device's settings (typically under "Privacy" or "Privacy & Security") for details.

5.2 Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry consensus on how to interpret this signal. We currently do not respond differently to Do Not Track signals; instead, our consent banner (once deployed) and the browser controls described above give you direct control over non-essential tracking.

5.3 Global Privacy Control

Some browsers and extensions support the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which automatically communicates a user's preference to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We will treat a GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the California Consumer Privacy Act (see Section 6).

California opt-out rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

6.1 Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing"

The CCPA defines "sale" and "sharing" broadly. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. To the extent that our use of marketing and advertising cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising qualifies as "sharing" of personal information under the CPRA, you have the right to opt out.

You can exercise this right by:

  • Selecting "Reject All" or rejecting marketing cookies in our consent banner (once deployed)
  • Sending a Global Privacy Control signal from a supporting browser or extension
  • Emailing us at sales@bookingradar.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"

6.2 Right to limit use of sensitive personal information

We do not use cookies to collect "sensitive personal information" as defined by the CPRA for purposes other than those permitted under CCPA Section 1798.121.

6.3 Right to non-discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. The Platform will continue to function for you regardless of your cookie choices, although disabling functional cookies may affect your experience.

Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our cookie use, applicable law, or industry standards.

When we make material changes, we will post a prominent notice on the Platform and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Where required by law, we will request renewed consent for new categories of cookies before setting them.

Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Cookie Policy.
